HEAL Palestine’s first pillar is to support the needs of the Health sector in Palestine, especially in Gaza. We are directed by a volunteer advisory board of experienced medical professionals to ensure that our programs and projects are impactful, needed, effective, efficient, and evaluated.
The short term needs of treating injured children and providing health services to the long-term goals of building programs to improve health services, HEAL is on the ground leading and assisting in the health needs of Palestinians.
Health Humanitarian Relief Efforts
Gaza’s health care system has collapsed, and the most basic medical services are not available to the 2.4 million people enduring an ongoing military invasion and siege. Hospitals lack the most basic materials, supplies, medications, and equipment, and medical staff who are still working are traumatized and exhausted.
HEAL Palestine is providing the following humanitarian relief efforts in the area of 'Health' in Gaza:
